Born from a Love of the Sea
Nesima Diving Center was founded in the early 1990s by divers who fell so deeply in love with Dahab's underwater world that they never left. What began as a small beach operation grew into one of the Red Sea's most respected dive centers — built on one unshakeable belief: every person deserves to experience the ocean.
We have guided first-time breathers and seasoned technical divers alike. We have watched nervous beginners transform into confident open water divers over the course of a single week.
Three decades later, the feeling is still the same: every morning we look out at the Red Sea and know we're exactly where we're supposed to be.
Meet the Team
The people who make every dive safe, every course unforgettable, and every guest feel at home.
Mohamed works as an instructor, teaching courses and guiding dives around Dahab's main sites. He focuses on helping divers learn properly while keeping them comfortable and safe in the water.
Lee works as an instructor and divemaster, teaching courses and guiding dives. He keeps things clear and straightforward underwater and works well with both new and experienced divers.
Ramy manages the daily operations at Nesima Diving Center and makes sure everything runs smoothly for both guests and staff. He's often around the center and involved in the day-to-day work.
Ahmed handles equipment preparation and general setup at the dive center. He makes sure everything is ready and in good condition before dives start.

50 full sets of Scubapro and Mares equipment. 140 tanks. Individual guest storage lockers. Four 4WD vehicles with mobile phones. Spare equipment, first aid, and oxygen on every dive — no exceptions.

We don't just work in Dahab — we live here. Our team knows every dive site, every current pattern, every season. We know which sites are best on a north wind and which ones light up at sunset.
That local knowledge is the difference between a good dive and the dive of your life. It's why our guides take groups of 4, not 12. It's why we choose the site based on conditions, not convenience.
